Eco-Logistics’ approach to greening road races is systematic. Our process begins with consultation with the event director, race committee and, ideally, the one person directly responsible for overseeing all of the event’s greening initiatives. Once green goals and objectives have been developed, and a plan agreed upon, next steps are left up to the race director and what the event budget allows.

We’ve developed the following three-tiered fee structure to tailor our services to meet the event’s objectives while keeping consulting fees as low as possible.

$1,000 – Our basic package of services covers consultation with key race officials, an assessment of opportunities and challenges to greening the event, the development of short- and long-term goals and objectives as well as a systematic plan to achieve those goals and objectives.

All basic services are provided by phone, email and written documentation—no travel is involved.

$2,000 – Our enhanced package of services includes all basic services, plus on-the-ground observation, documentation and evaluation of the event’s greening efforts as well as the promotion of significant and/or innovative green initiatives. Our enhanced package of services is recommended for events seeking green certification from the Council for Responsible Sport (www.ReSport.org).

Enhanced services require travel to the event, but the above fee does not include travel, lodging and per diem expenses.

$3,000 or more – For events that require hands-on and ongoing involvement of one or both partners, we will be pleased to develop a bid package for your consideration.
