Do most of us really need all the crap... um... I mean well-intentioned stuff... that is thrown at us at not only athletic events but conferences and festivals? Probably not. I personally am in the habit of foregoing the goodie bags. Or else taking out the few items of value and handing the rest back. I've been working on finding ways to cut my plastic consumption and plastic waste for over a year and documenting the process at <a href="http://www.fakeplasticfish.com" rel="nofollow">www.fakeplasticfish.com</a>, and refusing unnecessary free stuff is one of the methods for doing just that.
